This song really happened. The honeymoon of Mr and Mrs Doering lasted for 7 years, then it just got better the last 7 years before Edith went to be with the Lord in September 2018.

The Lord returned to us the years that the locust had eaten. Never let your marriage get stale. Be creative, be true to one another, and just keep on loving each other.

Fourteen years, one month and twenty three days after being married The Lord came for Edith.

This song details the early hour on Lord's Day September 23, 2018 as we were all gathered around my wife's bedside. The Lord arrived in the hospital room at 1:30 AM to take her into His bossom right before our eyes. She had about another 5 minutes of life in her as she was taken off the life support systems that had sustained her failing lungs.

"The Walls of Jericho Are Under My Feet"
After being knocked down extremely hard by the death of my wife in 2018 I wrote this song while experiencing Christ as my resurrection life. Outwardly, I was able to hold it together in front of people, inwardly I was a Lazarus, stinky dead in the tomb. The grieving wails that came out of my being I nearly could not recognize as from my own voice. Calling on the Lord constantly (literally) for 5 months brought me to a deep deep place in the Lord. "I know Jesus is the resurrection because the dead man he raised is me." Video remix released August 14, 2023

If it wasn't for the storms in my life I would not know the heights to which my praises rise. The deeper the depths the higher the praise. Do not pray to get out of your storm. Praise Him in the midst of it. Touch Him as the resurrection life.
